Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Tonya and I began grooming dogs and cats in 1996. Wasn’t until 1999 when my brother-in-law, Tony, built a grooming room for me in my garage in Fenton Michigan, to start Tonya’s Tender Touch.
My business remains small and personal in the same section of my garage where it began over two decades ago. The business has grown incredibly from word of mouth, so much so I could not do it alone any longer.
By the grace of God, I found Heather. What I love most about Heather is her heart. She is so gentle and kind to every animal that walks in the door along with each one that she personally grooms. You will fall in love with her! Heather’s grooming skills are quite amazing as well.
We listen closely to our clients as to how they want their pup groomed so that there are no mistakes. Our grooming style is best described as gentle and meticulous. We do not use cages and your pet will enjoy a low-stress environment due to the fact that we have only a couple of dogs on the premises at a time.
We pride ourselves on having the most loyal clients and continue to groom the second and even third-generation pets of our local families.

We do our very best to schedule appointments as quickly as possible however, available spots fill quickly. We ask that you plan and call a couple of weeks in advance to schedule when your pet will need grooming. Contacting us early to a schedule will ensure a time that works best for you.
